Question: Can I buy a seat on a plane for my pet?
Answer: No. There are no commercial airlines that will allow you to buy a seat for your pet. Some airlines will all you to bring a small dog or cat in the cabin with you if it can fit into an approved carrier that will fit under the seat in front of you.
Question: Can I ship my pet through PetFlight?
Answer: No. PetFlight only has an informational web site. We do not ship pets.
Question: Why did you name your dog Brent?
Answer: Brent was named by Guide Dogs for the Blind. All puppies from the same litter are given names starting with the same letter. In Brent's case, he was from a 'B' litter, and was lucky enough to get a unique name for a dog.
Question: Is it safe for my brachycephalic (short-nosed) dog to fly in the cargo hold?
Answer: Overall air travel is very safe for pets, but brachycephalic dogs are at a higher risk for death. You can read more here.
Question: What is the difference between Baggage and Cargo when flying my pet?
Answer: In both cases your pet will fly in the hold of the plane, in a temperature and pressure controlled section. If you are on the flight with your pet, then your pet is flying as baggage. If you are not on the same flight, then your pet is traveling as cargo.
